These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under Jamaican law between you and Appecable Tech (Business), the parent business of Paperwork's-Pro (Service).
1. Service Description
Paperwork's-Pro provides financial statement preparation services to Jamaican businesses and individuals. All services are rendered in Jamaican dollars (JMD) and comply with Jamaican accounting standards.
2. Payment Terms
- All payments are processed through Appecable Tech's Jamaican payment system
- We accept only Jamaican currency (JMD)
- Payment methods include:
- Jamaican debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- Local bank transfers (NCB, Scotia, etc.)
- Full payment is required before document delivery (Downloaded)
3. Refund Policy (Jamaican Clients)
- No refunds after document delivery (downloaded) and service completion
- If service is disrupted, refund requests must be made within 7 days
- Approved refunds will be processed in JMD to original payment method
- Bank charges for refund processing will be deducted
4. Accountant Relationships
- All accountants are independent Jamaican professionals
- Paperwork's-Pro and Appecable Tech are not liable for accountant services
- All account are verified before approved to carry out reviews and certifications
- You are responsible for verifying accountant credentials with ICAJ
5. Document Certification
- Certification is performed by ICAJ-registered accountants
- Certification fees are non-refundable once documents are signed (certified)
- We cannot guarantee third-party acceptance of certified documents
6. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through Jamaican courts under the following process:
- Written complaint to our Kingston office
- Mediation attempt within 30 days
- If unresolved, arbitration in Kingston under Jamaican Arbitration Act
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Jamaican law, including:
- The Consumer Protection Act
- The Electronic Transactions Act
- The Companies Act
8. Limitation of Liability
Our maximum liability to Jamaican clients is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in dispute. We are not liable for:
- Tax or legal consequences of using our documents
- Bank or regulatory decisions based on our documents
- Acts or omissions of independent accountants
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice to Jamaican clients via email or website notice.
